The KOKS ADEX-robot is designed to operate within ATEX zone 0 environments. The ADEX-robot is intended for cleaning aboveground oil storage tanks, oil sludge pits and for cleaning hazardous substances in potential confined spaces. The ADEX-robot is utilized in combination with a standalone power pack (SAPP and SAPP Pro) or transportable ventilated cabin (TVC) together with a vacuum truck for removal and disposal of fluid and hazardous substances, such as liquids, sludge, fats, oils, fuels and chemicals. Especially developed for handling hazardous and contaminated substances, the robot is certified for ATEX (Ex) zone 0.

Characteristics

The powerful patented, abrasive, magnetic tracks of the ADEX-ATEX certified robot enables this versatile system to move with ease through the contaminated tank. The ADEX is an ATEX zone 0 certified robot, which can be used together with both the SAPP and SAPP Pro as well as the TVC. In addition, the ADEX is available with different types of track plates and suction heads, making this robot very versatile and efficient. With the robot connected to a vacuum truck large quantities of fluid and solid substances can be processed in a short time and then transported in accordance with latest regulations. The user benefits from significant time savings and a huge reduction in cost.
